Introduction
This club was formed in November 1976, mainly for the purpose of establishing a 2 meter repeater for the convenience of travellers on the Princes Highway.
VHF and UHF repeaters are operating on 146.700 (123hz tone) and 438.125 MHz from Nowra Hill. View Photos of our Repeater
For over 30 years, this club has enjoyed the support of amateurs who reside on the South Coast, the Far South Coast and in the ACT, Southern Highlands and Sydney areas.
Meetings
Quarterly, on the second Saturday of February, May, August and November, at the Country Women’s Association Hall, Wason Street, Milton.

Club Activities & Events
Club nets are on Wednesday evenings @7:30pm local time on 3617 KHz and 8:30 pm local time on VK2RMU repeater 146.700 Mhz. Reports and observations are always welcome. VK2HQ is our club callsign and will be used by the operator of the net.
Note: There is a CTCSS tone of 123.0Hz required to access the VK2RMU VHF Repeater, this should eliminate unwanted interference.
Training Courses And Assessment Information
The club does not run formal training courses at present but has two members who are qualified WIA assessors. We also have a qualified learning organiser and two learning facilitators. Details are available on the WIA web page.
